The story of *Prophet Yusuf and the King’s Dream* recounts how Prophet Yusuf (Joseph), known for his wisdom and piety, was unjustly imprisoned in Egypt but remained steadfast in faith. When the king experienced a puzzling dream about seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean cows and seven green ears of corn with seven dry ones, none of his advisors could interpret it. Yusuf, through Allah’s guidance, explained that the dream foretold seven years of abundant harvest followed by seven years of severe famine, and advised storing surplus grain during the good years. Impressed by his insight and honesty, the king freed Yusuf and appointed him to oversee the land’s resources, marking the beginning of his rise to a position of great trust and authority.
