"Come In!" is a delightful story from the Oxford Reading Tree series (Stage 4), featuring the beloved characters Biff, Chip, and Kipper. In this tale, Dad is engaged in painting when Wilf and Wilma arrive to play. Soon after, more friends join in, and the house becomes increasingly crowded and chaotic. The situation escalates with the arrival of dogs, leading to a messy and noisy environment. Eventually, Mum returns home, surprised and a bit cross to find the house in disarray. She manages to restore order, bringing the lively day to a close.
The new-style inside cover notes provide advice and support to help adults read and explore the story with the child, supporting their decoding and language comprehension development.
